Introducing Dr. Kavita Rana – Specialist Prosthodontist

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kavita Rana to the Cairns Dental Anaesthetic team of dental specialists. Dr. Rana is a registered Specialist Prosthodontist who completed her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics at The University of Queensland.

Her clinical interests span both conventional and digital prosthodontics, with a particular passion for the maxillofacial rehabilitation of cancer and trauma patients. She undertook further training as a Maxillofacial Prosthodontic Fellow at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Cancer Hospital in Sydney for a short duration.

In addition to private practice, Dr Rana remains committed to dental education. She has served as a Senior Lecturer at James Cook University, held an Honorary role at Sydney Dental Hospital, and continues to teach part-time at UQ’s Herston Clinical facility.
